About Zeitmaker
We secure the Forschungszulage, Germany's R&D tax allowance, for innovative companies. Zeitmaker is an AI-first results-as-a-service company, founded by YC alumni and successful venture capitalists. We are one of the first providers in the market to build the Forschungszulage AI-first as a complete service, and we bring the experience of more than 100 R&D projects.

Your role
As project manager, you are the link between our clients, our innovation consultants and our AI platform. You always keep an eye on the timeline, coordinate and communicate closely with our clients and make sure nothing falls through the cracks.
Your tasks
- You guide clients through the application and documentation and manage the timeline and deadlines.
- You gather the information needed from founders, CTOs and developers and align the project descriptions from our AI tool with the client.
- You coordinate clients, innovation consultants and the platform, including the answers to follow-up requests from the certification body.
- You keep the client tracker up to date, follow up before anyone has to ask, and hand the finished package over to the client's tax firm.
What you bring
- Project management experience: You have already run projects with many stakeholders and fixed deadlines.
- Clear communication: You keep clients and the team up to date, in German and English. Fluent German is required, as most of our clients work in German.
- Structure: You keep track of many clients at once and work reliably.
- You enjoy working with clients: You like guiding people through a process.
- Open to AI: You enjoy working with AI tools and want to use them to make processes faster.
- Ideally, experience with the Forschungszulage, public funding or innovation consulting.
- A technical background or a degree in computer science, engineering or natural sciences is a plus, but not a must.
